The actions that have occurred to us in the past cannot be altered, but we can manage their inner image of the memory. Through altering the inside representation of the memory, we can alter our feelings and outlook about the episode. This in turns will modifies our response if a parallel incident will occur again. Therefore, we can be in more managing of our outlook and start to take care of our personal life rather than living and being miserable about what happened in the past.
